Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Sunday is cooking day. It is the day that I love to try out new recipes. I am relaxed and got enough time to cook with passion. Because Christmas is almost there I thought I could share one of my favorite recipes with you.

The pasta I am going to guide you through is called 'Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta'. I know, that is a catchy name. It was actually my dad that came up with this recipe on a sunday a few months ago. I have no idea where he found it but now it is one of the most eaten recipes on sunday at home. So more reason to believe that it has got to be good. I did my research and found out that it is an Africain recipe. I fell in love with the spicy shrimps and the creamy sauce.

(4 p.)

- one packet spaghetti

- 60 peeled shrimps

- 1 cup light cream (about 25cl)

- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

- half of a lemon

- onion

- 2 cloves of garlic

- paprika powder

- salt and pepper

- olive oil

It is very easy to make, probably done in about 30 minutes.

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions.

  2. Make the sauce by stirring together the cream, chili sauce, garlic, lime juice, onion, salt and peper. Then set it aside.

  3. Heat a pan with olive oil.  Then add the second clove of garlic, a little bit of onion and the shrimps.

  4. Cover the shrimps in paprika powder.

  5. Add the spaghetti first and then the sauce.

  6. Stir well and add some extra parsley.
