We can all argue about which product is best to keep your hands moisturized and your lips hydrated. But one thing is sure, stores will smash products to your head claiming to be the best ones you have ever had. Stop listening and start sampling.
One of my golden tips is sampling. Wherever you go, you have to ask a sample first to try out whether your skin can bear the products. If a store doesn't agree there is a big chance they were trying to trick you in buying. Most reliable stores where to buy your products are the pharmacy and specialized stores, mind the exceptions. In Belgium I recommend stores like Fin Du Jour, Lush, Ici Paris XL and your local pharmacy. They will always help you find the best product that matches your skin type and give you a sample of it. I tried out many products and picked out five of my favorites that really were worth investing in. If you also need to protect your skin against the cold then these products might also be something for you.
Balneum Forte is a very greasy bath oil against drought. It works immediately from the first time. Compared with fun and nice smelling bath oils like from Rituals or The Body Shop, this one is very natural thanks to the pure peanut oil and paraffin. It also has a healing effect.
This dry oil might be my all-time favorite product. It reduces dry skin and dull hair plus it smells like summer paradise. It is a very natural product made with six vegetable oils. Dry oil benefits us all because of its anti-aging effect.
